IAM Operations Engineer (m/w/d) Keycloak - Berlin & remote

Für unseren Kunden in Berlin suchen wir ab sofort einen IAM Operations Engineer (m/w/d) Keycloak für den voraussichtlichen Zeitraum bis 12/2024 mit der Option auf langfristige Verlängerung. In diesem großen Greenfield-Projekt kann unter Nutzung moderner Technologien ein Beitrag zur Energiewende geleistet werden. Das Projekt ist als Vollzeitbeschäftigung geplant. Eine Woche pro Monat findet vor Ort in Berlin statt.

Project Description:
The team is building an internal platform for software product developers to accelerate the development and delivery of software products to tackle the massive challenges facing the energy sector. The Platform is a service oriented, cloud-native platform that is being built to provide application teams with self-service capabilities to develop, run and operate their software products. The Platform provides services for application infrastructure, data, service lifecycle management, application build and delivery as well as services to operate their software products. The platform is deployed as a hybrid cloud, encompassing both private cloud and selected public clouds.

Profile Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior operations or engineering role focusing on IAM, including troubleshooting, incident response, and system optimization.
- Deep understanding of IAM principles, security protocols, and standards such as OpenID Connect, SAML, OAuth, and LDAP
- Expertise in managing and optimizing IAM tools and platforms, with a strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, staying ahead of the latest security trends and technologies.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing team capabilities and performance.
- This role is designed for a technically proficient and strategically minded individual passionate about advancing IAM practices, enhancing security, and driving operational excellence within a dynamic and challenging environment.

Must have:
- Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and incident management for IAM systems.
- Deep understanding of IAM principles, security protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth, LDAP), and compliance requirements
- Experience with at least one major IAM solution, preferably Keycloak, and tools, with the ability to configure, manage, and optimize these platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of conducting thorough root cause analysis.
- Effective communication skills, conveying technical issues and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions (even under pressure).
- Fluent in Englisch (at least B2)

Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud-based IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM) and their integration into enterprise environments.
- Experience with CI/CD, helm-charts/terraform, and general automation of setup and configuration of tooling to enhance IAM processes and workflows
- Familiarity with advanced security concepts, such as Zero Trust Architecture and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Experience in implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and identity federation solutions.
- Project management skills and experience working in a scaled agile environment.
- Fluent in German
